Documents required with
your application

1)
If you wish to enrol in a first-cycle degree programme (laurea) or a single-cycle programme (laurea a ciclo unico, i.e. Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Law), and hold
a foreign study qualification, please fill out the online
application form, then print it and take it to the University, 'Servizio studenti stranieri', along with the following supporting documents:

final school leaving
qualification, achieved on completion of minimum 12 years of global schooling,
giving access to university in the issuing country, particularly to the
equivalent programme of study (go to eligible
qualifications);
·
Dichiarazione di valore of the school leaving certificate, i.e. an
official document issued by the Italian Embassy or Consulate in the awarding
country providing information about your qualification;
·
certificate of the national university entrance
examination, if compulsory for eligibility to undergraduate programmes
in the country where you have studied (e.g. Gao Kao in China, or Matura Shtetërore
in Albania).
·
university transcript of records, if the school
qualification was awarded after less than 12 years of global schooling, or if
you apply for credit transfer for prior academic studies in a subject relevant
to the chosen programme. In the latter case you may be able to gain your degree in less than the
normal time. For credit award you also need to submit the syllabus for each
examination topic listed in the transcript;

residence permit.
2) If you wish to enrol on a second- cycle
degree programme (laurea magistrale), and hold a
foreign university qualification, please fill out the online
application form, then print it and take it to the University, 'Servizio studenti stranieri', along with the following supporting documents:
·
Dichiarazione di valore of the school leaving certificate, i.e. an
official document issued by the Italian Embassy or Consulate in the awarding
country providing information about your qualification;
· degree certificate and dichiarazione di valore thereof;
·
transcript
of records attesting examinations and relevant scores (including credit hours,
if available);
·
syllabus,
i.e. an outline of topics
covered in the courses;
·
residence permit.
Note: student syllabi and
transcripts will be accepted in English or any other
language specified by the Faculty (go to http://offertaformativa.miur.it/studenti/elenco2016,
select the University of Trieste and the programme,
then click on “dettaglio”). All
other documents issued in a foreign language must be translated into Italian by an official translator.
You might be able to turn in a diploma supplement (DS), if available;
this can be submitted instead of the syllabus and
transcript, provided all needed information is detailed on the DS.
