Operations Talent Program by EssilorLuxottica

The EssilorLuxottica Group combines two centuries of innovation, leading the industry in the design, manufacture and distribution of fashion, luxury and sports eyewear with an expansive portfolio of both proprietary and licensed brands.

Who are we looking for?
Are you a graduate or a final-year student seeking a career opportunity where your curiosity, passion and creativity are challenged daily through high-quality training that helps you see the bigger picture of the industry?

The Operations Talent Program (OTP) develops talent for dynamic career opportunities within EssilorLuxottica's main Operations hubs.

Over the two-year program, trainees explore the expansive world of operations, learn a range of industry topics and experience the industrial environment where technology, innovation and product-passion sit center-stage.

Candidates must also be ready to engage deeply with the company and become part of the dynamic and friendly community.

You’re the perfect candidate for the program if you:

  • Are passionate about technology and digital innovation in industrial and R&D operations
  • Have a degree in business or STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) acquired in the last year or graduating within 2022
  • Have less than one year of work experience
  • You have an excellent academic path (please specify your grade on your CV)
  • Are fluent in English. Basic knowledge of Italian or French is considered advantageous
  • Have international study or work experience (mandatory)
  • Are available to start the program either in Agordo (Belluno, Italy) or Créteil (southeast of Paris, France)

How is it structured?

The program will be held in two of EssilorLuxottica’s main Operations hubs: Créteil (southeast of Paris, France) or Agordo (Belluno, Italy) and will last a total of 2 years. An open-ended contract will be offered from day 1 and there will be the opportunity to begin with a deep overview of Operations through a six-month Academy path. The candidates will then deepen Operations management topics within a top-notch European Business School and to develop a Project Work.

The OTPs will be assigned to one of the Operations Functions (such as R&D & Product Development, Engineering, Supply Chain & Logistics, Sourcing, Controlling, Quality, Data Science, Manufacturing) and will have the chance to gain a full perspective of that Department thanks to a half-way job rotation.

The program offers an appealing mix of career and personal development opportunities:

  • Learning the milestones for a career in operations — a dynamic and agile career with many pathways
  • A blended-learning course of assignments and work experience that challenges out-of-the-box thinking and fosters innovation across various Operations and R&D topics
  • Opportunities to develop project management and workplace skills
  • An in-depth look into how technology, innovation and products intersect in a factory setting
  • Unique opportunities to meet, learn from and be inspired by business leaders
  • The chance to experience EssilorLuxottica’s culture in community with other talents in a charming location in the heart of the Dolomites in Italy or in the surroundings of vibrant Paris
  • The potential to progress into global positions
  • The chance to be part of a worldwide industry-leading company and a creative working environment
