Writing Skills:
- the advantages of ad hoc reference corpora for the analysis and production of academic genres (abstracts and papers),
- presentation and use of tools for corpus exploration,
- language focus: sentence and paragraph structure, word order, verb tense and voice, formal/informal style, linguistic interference, tips for clear and effective writing,
- drafting and collaborative revision of abstracts, with particular emphasis on the advantages of collaborative work.
Oral Skills:
- oral presentations (slide preparation, slide organisation, delivery),
- oral presentations by participants, with collaborative feedback from peers and workshop tutor.
