Pregnancy

The pregnant women enjoy specific protections in the field of safety at work:

• exclusion from heavy, dangerous or unhealthy works, which means their temporary move to other jobs
• abstention from the job for five months, usually from 2 months before the childbirth to 3 following months, or on request from 1 months before the childbirth to 4 following months

For the other cases regarding the abstention from the job (referring to the Legislative Decree 151/01), which are outside of the field of safety at work, you must go to the office where you have signed the contract (or the acceptance of scholarship).
