Welcome to the ECE IX registration page!

The Ninth European Conference of Egyptology will take place from June 21st to June 26th 2021. All people with an interest in egyptological research are invited to participate: registration is free of charge, but is required to obtain access to the website and to view the speakers’ contributions.

Please note that the language of the conference is English.

This new edition of the conference - organized in Italy for the first time - was intended to take place in Trieste in 2020, but the circumstances forced us to postpone it, turning it into an online event hosted by the Department of Humanities of the University of Trieste and organized in cooperation with the Institute of Mediterranean and Oriental Cultures of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The intention all along the series of these Conferences has been to present current research to cover all spheres of interest in present-day Egyptology, so we sincerely hope you will enjoy this one!
