Non EU citizens currently living in Italy

ENROLMENT

If you wish to enrol in a
university programme and you are a citizen of a
non-EU country (except for UE-equated countries)
with a long-term residence card or a valid residence permit in Italy for the
purpose of work, family, political asylum, humanitarian or religious purposes,
or else you’ve been living in Italy on a regular permit for at least one year
and have gained in Italy a higher education qualification

However, if you hold a foreign qualification you need to give evidence
of your previous studies (go to documents).
ADMISSION TESTS

Italian
Language Test: not
required.

Assessment
test: for any
degree program, either first or second cycle, assessment of the student’s
knowledge is required. Each program establishes its own pre-requisites and how they
should be met. Go to Immatricolazioni (and Informazioni
specifiche) to check conditions of admission to the
program you have chosen.

Admission
exam: it is compulsory for access to a “limited number” program. You must
apply for such programs by the deadline established in the relevant notice (bando), by connecting at the following link: http://www.units.it/~immatricolazioni.
You will be listed together with Italian students according to your test score,
and will eventually apply for enrolment within the limits of the places
available. Please note that places for foreign students are granted only to
non-EU students living outside Italy.
