28.09.2017 Enrolment in subsequent years AY 2017/18 - 31° and 32° cycle
In order to register for the forthcoming academic year, AY 2017/18, you need to pay the annual fees - before 5 October 2017 - in one lump sum as follows: - € 476.00, composed of € 160.00 - i.e. the regional tax - and € 300.00 – i.e. the university contribution – plus the duty stamp, if you have been awarded a PhD scholarship; - € 176.00, composed of € 160.00 - i.e. the regional tax - plus the duty stamp, if you have not been awarded a PhD scholarship. You will receive an email message on your institutional account informing you that you can pay the fees using the Esse3 online services available on http://www2.units.it/dott/en/?file=DottOnline.inc Please note that taxes can be paid at any bank counter in Italy or else online by credit card. If you are a scholarship holder, in order to complete your registration, you also need to fill in and send to the PhD Office the "Confirmation of the scholarship (31st and 32nd cycle)” form, available on http://www2.units.it/dott/files/ConfSchol2017.pdf before 5 October 2017, failing which payment of the scholarship will be suspended. Please remember that you are committed to fulfilling all PhD students’ obligations as stated in the form you signed last year. 03.05.2017 Graduation Day Ceremony 2015/2016
PhD "Graduation Day" Ceremony on Friday, June 16th, at 11.00 AM. The ceremony will be held in the Aula Magna, University Main Building (Piazzale Europa 1) at the presence of the major academic and local authorities as well as of Antonello Mordeglia, Chief Executive Officer of Danieli Automation S.p.A., who will receive the Honorary Degree during the same ceremony. Before the ceremony, at 9.30 AM, you are required to collect personally your PhD Certificate (and its official box). To do so, please go to the Main Building, Right Wing, 3rd floor, with a valid ID document. It is fundamental that you reach the University at the fixed time. Info: comunicazione@amm.units.it

10.02.2015 new deadline for tax/fee adjustment
We inform you that it is now possible to apply for tax/fee adjustment. The deadline is 15 April 2015. Please read carefully the announcement available at http://www2.units.it/dott/files/Tax%20and%20fees%2014.15%2030.pdf Pay special attention to point 3. We remind you that the minimum fee is € 366, i.e. the enrolment fee you have already paid, while the maximum amount for the second instalment is € 530. If you want to apply you must choose a CAF (i.e. tax assistance centre) among those listed here http://www2.units.it/dida/ordamm/moduli/caf.pdf and prepare the documents needed. Then send an email to the PhD Office from your institutional account to inform the office which is the CAF you have chosen. The Office will fix an appointment with the CAF and then contact you.

We remind you that you have to complete the survey of student opinion by 31 December 2013. They can be collected by the person concerned at the "ritiro diplomi” counter of the Segreterie Studenti (building A, ground floor) showing his/her ID and bringing a duty stamp of 16 €.
In case you cannot come personally, you can delegate somebody else, who must hand in a written proxy for the collection of the original doctoral degree (Delega al ritiro del diploma originale di dottorato) signed by yourself in orginal, as well as a photocopy of your identity document (front and back). S/he must also show her/his own ID.

The tax can be paid either at any post office counter or at any branch of Unicredit bank or else online by credit card. Receipts MUST NOT be given to the Doctoral Registrar's Office. Payment is a prerequisite for enrolment. The deadline for paying is 31 December 2011. The penalties for late payments are listed in the "Taxes and fees announcement". Students will be enrolled in subsequent years only after the positive assessment of the Academic Board.

23.11.2011 TO THE ATTENTION OF SCHOLARSHIP HOLDERS - payment dates
Owing to the new accounting procedures, scholarship holders will perceive the December instalment (AY 2010/2011) in December 2011 instead of January 2012.The first instalment for the AY 2011/2012 (solar year 2012) will be paid on 25 February, as per usual. No payment will be made in January 2012. Scholarship-holders who have not regularly attended will have to pay back the amounts they were not entitled to perceive. Scholarship-holders who have registered in the AY 2010/2011 and who have officially started their doctoral activity after 1 January will be paid all the previous instalments in December 2011. The compensation is due only in case of attendance recovery. They will therefore have to pay back the amounts they were not entitled to perceive.

06.05.2011 To the attention of scholarship holders - a.y. 2009/10 (solar year 2010) - deadline for presenting income certificates: 31 May 2011
We need to check that you are entitled to perceive the scholarship; you therefore have to present a certificate declaring the gross income (or zero income) perceived in the year 2010 issued by the relevant authority and translated by the Italian Embassy (incomes earned abroad).
