• Focus on quantitative data: do the numbers in (14) on p. 63 support Emonds & Faarlund claim, and to what extent?

• More data on OV and VO orders in the history of English: tables from Pintzuk & Taylor 2006 and from Taylor & Pintzuk 2011.
